A Legacy of Community & Support
Iloko Model College was founded in 2001 by Oba Oladele Olashore, resuming with its pioneer set of students on September 24, 2001. Olashore International School (OIS) provided crucial support, sending pioneer principals Mr. Johnson Adewole and Elder A. O. Awe, and providing computer labs, science equipment, and furniture to build a solid academic base.
In 2004, the school presented students for its first external exams (BECE, WASSCE, NECO) with excellent outcomes, initiating a long-standing record of success. In 2019, the primary section, Iloko Model Kiddies Academy, was established to extend this standard of education to younger children.
In 2021, Alayeluwa Oba (Dr) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe became the new proprietor, steering the school to even greater heights. Since 2025, under Principal Mr. Fatomilola Oladosu Abiodun, the school completed a major hostel renovation, installed solar boreholes/inverters, security CCTV, and formed a digital partnership with New Horizons for AI and programming.
